FAQ

When can I go out in public without looking like I just had facelift surgery?

After a week, most people can see family and friends and look fine with some bruising. After two weeks, patients can go out in public and return to work with make-up to cover minor bruises.

What’s the difference from a SMAS facelift and a DEEP PLANE facelift and is 49 too young?

You must trust the surgeon who operates on you and look at multiple before and after photos. Dr. Orfaniotis is right in that surgeons call the same thing differently. Both procedures work well in the right hands. Discard the selling or marketing wording and look at the results. We go through periods where everyone talks about a short scar lift, S lift, lifestyle lift, etc. when all you need is a good, experienced surgeon. Results matter!

Can Sculptra or a previous mini lower facelift cause complications for a future full facelift?

You can still have a lift; however, it will be a bit harder to perform the surgery, but it is a common procedure that I do. Secondary lifts are easy in the right hands. While Sculptra, and previous mini lift and previous ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments do alter the tissue and can affect elasticity, you still will have a great result!
