Dr. Balwant Vekaria is a highly accomplished implantologist. He underwent training and collaborated with renowned cosmetic and dental surgeons, including Prof Hilt Tatum, a pioneer in implantology, and Dr. Larry Rosenthal, a prominent cosmetic dentist in New York.

Over the years, Dr Vekaria has gained expertise in various implantology techniques, from basic to advanced procedures like sinus grafting, sinus lift, bone grafting, and bone expansion. He has substantial experience working with a wide range of recognised dental implant systems, including Bicon, Tatum, Astra, Osteoti, Osteocare, Mini Implant (MDI), and Intoss.

In addition to his implantology background, Dr. Vekaria has an impressive academic and professional record. He earned his graduate credentials from the Maxillofacial and Dental Implant Department at Lille Medical University, France. Dr. Vekaria is one of very few dentists in the UK to hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry, a qualification he obtained at Lille University, France.

Dr. Vekaria is recognised as an international course presenter and lecturer, particularly in the fields of implantology and aesthetic smile makeovers. He is the founder of the UK’s first Implant Training Course, established in collaboration with Prof Hilt Tatum. With over 10,000 dental implants placed since 1986, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in the field.

Dr. Vekaria has received referrals from more than 100 dental surgeons since 1991, primarily for routine surgical extractions performed under sedation. With over 25 years of dental practice experience, he has comprehensive expertise in various aspects of dentistry, including dental implants, cosmetic makeovers, sedation techniques, general dental treatments, bone grafting, sinus grafting, and bone expansion surgeries.

He has been invited to pursue a Post Doctoral Diploma in Advanced Implant and Facial Reconstructive Surgery to further add to his skillset.
