Dr. Genevieve Chan came from Singapore to school in Hampshire, graduating in Dentistry from the University of Dundee in 1983. For most of her dental career, she has worked in general practice but has also worked for the Prison dental service.

In 2012 she became a dental appraiser and a dental coach/mentor in 2018. For the last 10 years, she has been a volunteer for Crisis at Christmas. Outside of work she plays squash, paddleboards and goes to Spinfit and enjoys spending time with her family.
