FAQ

Do small implants exist for women with a large breast width?

Great question! Breast implants come in all shapes and sizes, just like us. A smaller implant with a larger diameter would require lower profile. A consultation with a plastic surgeon of your choice will go over the specifics and help you in choosing the best size for your aesthetic goals. Take care!

Can I achieve fuller, bigger breasts without a lift?

Hello, thank you for your question! Yes, it is possible to achieve fuller, bigger breasts without a lift. One way this may work is receiving a fat transfer breast augmentation. A fat transfer breast augmentation essentially uses liposuction to remove fat from other parts of your body such as the thighs, and inject it into your breasts. A good candidate for a fat transfer breast augmentation is a candidate who is looking to increase one cup size and increase volume. As always, it is recommended to book a consultation with your local plastic surgeon to discuss this matter and if you would be a good candidate for a fat transfer breast augmentation. All the best.

Is there a breast implant that will last forever?

Hello, thank you for your question! Unfortunately, a breast implant will not last forever. Although breast implants do not expire, it is not guaranteed to last a lifetime. On average breast implants last anywhere from 10-20 years after the patient's initial surgery. Each patient is different and the life of a patient's implant varies on a patient's body and how well the patient takes care of their implants. In order to boost the lifespan on your breast implants, it is recommended to follow your plastic surgeon's guidelines for annual checkups, and performing regular self-checks. If a patient receives a silicone implant, it is recommended that the patient goes in for a MRI three years after the initial surgery and every two years after that. All the best.

Breast Lift or Implants needed?

Hello, thank you for your question! Based on the photo you submitted, I believe a breast lift would be most beneficial to you. A good candidate for a breast lift has sagging breasts or lost a considerable volume due to losing weight or breastfeeding. Typically, most candidates find that their nipples point downward instead of forward. A breast lift, also known as a Mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that lifts and reshapes sagging breasts. This is done by removing excess skin and tightening supporting tissue. A breast lift can work in conjunction with implants however, it is important to schedule a consultation with your local plastic surgeon to discuss whether or not this would be a good idea for you. All the best.
